The immediate past governor of Oyo state, Senator Abiola Ajimobi has told his successor, Engr. Seyi Makinde to stop mocking himself saying he is misconstruing the meaning of Constituted Authority.
Speaking on a radio program on Splash FM in Ibadan, the state capital, Ajimobi replied Governor Seyi Makinde over his comment in a viral video while addressing students of LAUTECH.
He said that Makinde did not know he was mocking himself and not him because Makinde is now the constituted authority.
Recalled that Makinde in a mockery remarks jabbed Ajimobi while addressing students of Ladoke Akintola University of Technology, LAUTECH where he asked the students if they can do what they were doing for him in front of constituted authority.
Ajimobi also said that the constituted authority people call him is an English word.
“Constituted Authority is an English word, those that are making jest of me are illiterates. Governor Seyi Makinde is also a constituted authority.
“When one is in power, people will say a lot about you, both positive and negative things will be said about you. Some people are already throwing shades at the present governor, Engr. Seyi Makinde. My own shades are fading off already ” he said.
