Academic Staff Union Of Universities (ASUU) has advised all her members to find other legitimate works to make money and survive.
ASUU gave this advice during a press briefing after the just concluded negotiation meeting between Federal Government and ASUU where they lamented that Government has not paid lecturer salary since February 2020.
According to them, the Federal Government are not showing seriousness on ending the ongoing strike and the strike may not end soon.
They also use the opportunity to inform the Nigeria public in general, to all university lecturers, and more importantly to Nigeria students, National Association Of Nigeria Students (NANS), and Parents to know that the ongoing strike is not coming to an end any time soon.
ASUU argued that the Federal Government is not showing concerns toward their salary with zero seriousness, so for that, the Union, ASUU is not ready any time soon to call off the strike while they advised all members to look for lawful other ways to make money and take care of themselves and their family
