Yoruba rights activist and warlord, Sunday Adeyemo popularly known as Igboho has revealed the ‘suspected arsonists’ who are responsible for the fire incident at his house in Soka, Ibadan.
Recalled that about 3 .am on Tuesday morning, a property owned by Sunday Igboho was set ablaze.
The building was his old house at Soka area in Ibadan, the Oyo State capital and no one has been reported injured as at press time.
Sunday Igboho became popular after his ultimatum to the Fulani in Oyo.
He accused the Northerners of masterminding abductions and killings in the state.
“Fulani kidnappers and Bandits have burnt my former residence located at Soka, Ibadan around 3am.
Those that did it will be fished out soon

After the expiration of the deadline, the house and cars of the Seriki Fulani in Igangan were torched.
Igboho denied having a hand in the attack. Today’s inferno at his residence is believed to be a reprisal.

But in a tweet confirming the fire incident, the activist only blamed those he described as suspected arsonist, saying, “My house at Soka Ibadan razed down by suspected arsonists.”

Meanwhile, Igboho has dissociated himself from several accounts on social media platforms, especially Facebook and Twitter, posting unverified information in his name.
Igboho made this clarification while speaking to reporters in a viral video obtained by The Nation.
The Nation reports that many accounts bearing the name and pictures of Sunday Igboho surfaced after his recent ultimatum to herdsmen in Igangan in Ibarapa North Local Government Area to vacate the land.
He however warned Nigerians not to be scammed by persons using his name on social media platforms saying the accounts are being operated fraudulently by impostors.
