This morning, we paid a courtesy visit to my brother, the Governor of Osun State, His Excellency Gboyega Oyetola, to thank him for his role in the resolution of the ownership of the Ladoke Akintola University of Technology (LAUTECH), Ogbomoso. A decision jointly taken across party lines.
I acknowledged that we both had to put the students and other stakeholders’ interest first to resolve this ownership problem which had lingered over the years and led to a deterioration of the standard at the university.
I also restated that students from both Osun State and Oyo State will continue to enjoy home students’ status at the university.
