Another shocking news of the death of talented broadcaster, Dan Foster has shaken not only the media industry but also the world.
Foster who was said to be ill was confirmed dead on Wednesday by his colleagues.
Popular ‘who wants to be a millionaire?’ host, Frank Edoho couldn’t hide the shock and sadness as he mourned the versatile media personality.
In a post via his Twitter handle, Edoho lamented that the year 2020 is indeed a “very dark year”. He went on to wish the late Foster a peaceful rest in the other world.
He tweeted:
“I just got off the phone, my friend Oscar confirmed that Dan Foster has passed on. This is a very very dark year. How can I overcome this unending melancholy. Rest in Peace, dear Friend. ?????????????????????????????????????????????”
Dan Foster before his death, worked with numerous radio stations including Cathy Hughes Radio One, Mix 106.5 both in America, and Virgin Island-based WTBN before moving to Nigeria in 2000 where he joined Cool FM, quickly becoming popular with Nigerian listeners.
In September 2009, Foster left Cool FM for Inspiration FM but left in 2014 to join City FM.
In May 2016, he left City FM 105.1 for Classic FM 97.3 radio station where he worked before he passed on.
