The popular gospel singer, Tope Alabi has expressed her dissatisfaction over churches poster that featured her in an upcoming program she knew nothing about.
On her Facebook wall, the singer stated that this is not the first time the church does this while warning members of the public to ignore the church’s invitation noting that it is aimed at blackmailing her under the guise that she doesn’t honour their invitation.
Read the message below:
“NOTICE FOR THE GENERAL PUBLIC WITH REFERENCE TO THE FESTAC COMMUNITY IN LAGOS
Please be informed that I was neither informed about this programme nor invited. I was aware for the first time when news of publicity got to me.
It is also important to note that this is not the first time such is happening by this same organisation.
I believe the organisers should understand that in ministry, trust is built on integrity.
I had ignored before but I chose to alert the public this time so that those who organised the programme and knew they never informed me won’t eventually blackmail me that I didn’t honour their invitation.
Thank you all for your love and prayers. – #regrann”.
