One of the #JusticeForHinyUmoren campaigners on Twitter @Dr.PENKING has debunked news that killer of Iniobong Hiny Umoren, Uduak Akpan committed suicide.
It was widely reported since Thursday morning that Uduak was found dead at the police custody at Ikot Akpanabia Akwa Ibom State Police Command.
The report says that Uduak committed suicide by using his trousers to tie at a metal frame of his cell door.
The report also revealed that Uduak was last seen alive by 19:30 pm on Wednesday when he was served a meal of bread and edikaikong soup.
But the Akwa Ibom State Police Command has since not confirmed the report which raised people’s suspicion.
Meanwhile, this #JusticeForHinyUmoren campaigner revealed that Uduak’s accomplices sponsored the rumour peddlers to divert public’s attention as a way to sneak him out to Abuja.
He wrote;
“Early this morning,they started peddling rumour that the murderer Uduak Frank Akpan has committed suicide.This was meant to divert our attention while they sneak him out to Abuja. We have confirmed the news to be false. He is alive and well.

He further revealed those agents used to peddle the rumour below….
“This is one of the persons paid to peddle rumors that Uduak Frank Akpan’s is dead. He used a pseudo account to post the news then used his real account to ask for confirmation. Planet FM rapidly copied him. All of them will never know peace.

Recalled the 20-year old Uduak has been arrested and gone through interrogations after he was alleged to have been connected to the missing and later killing of Iniubong Umoren, a 2019 graduate from University of Uyo, Uyo.
Iniubong was announced missing on Thursday April 29, 2021 after she went hunting for job along Airport road in Uyo, Akwa Ibom State capital.
But dropped a little voice note of one second that no one could detect what she said.
When attempting to find out what happened, she was heard screaming and nothing more was ever heard of the victim until she was found in a shallow grave which the building was said to have been a dwelling place for one Mr Frank Akpan.
Following pressure from young Nigerians who have asked for justice for the young soul and to unravel the accomplices, Frank has taken his life for reasons best known to him.
