Nigeria’s minister of State for Petroleum Resources and the leader of the All Progressive Congress (APC) in Bayelsa State, Timipre Sylva has cried out over attempt by the disqualified former deputy governor-elect of Bayelsa, Sen. Biobarakumo Degi to commit suicide.
Timipre Sylva made this known on Monday at Channels Television program (SUNRISE DAILY) program when he was reacting as a guest to the Supreme Court ruling which upheld its earlier judgement of 13th February.
The former governor-elect, David Lyon and the All Progressives Congress had gone back to Supreme Court to seek a review and possible reversal of the Judgement that disqualified the Deputy Governor-elect Sen. Biobarakumo Degi due to multiple, unrelated names on his certificates.
Speaking on the decision of the Apex not to reverse itself, Sylva said;
“I am today, dealing with a Deputy Governor that is at the verge of committing s*icide.
“Because, everyday i have to call, to be sure that he hasn’t done anything to himsel
“I have in my hands, somebody contemplating suicide”
