Nollywood stars Femi Branch and Ronke Oshodi-Oke led some of their colleagues on Tuesday to the tribute service in honour of Prophet T.B, founder of the Synagogue Church of All Nations.
The tribute service was the activity for day 2 in the week-long programme marked out for Joshua’s funeral.
Addressing a global audience, the Nollywood stars paid glowing tribute to Joshua.
Branch said: “The Bible said Jesus Christ who is the template of Christianity went about doing good and healing those who were sick. How many of those who are labelling and demonising him did any of such? Rather they were buying mansions, wearing designer outfits and building universities their church members could not attend.”
He went on to say that though he never benefited from him directly, he could not deny the generosity he had seen and heard the late prophet exhibit.
Other actors who also joined on stage include Ojo Arowosafe aka Fadeyi Oloro and Jumoke George.
A-list comedian Gbenga Adeyinka the 1st was also at the tribute service.
Another comedian Destalker reminisced on his days as a struggling young man residing close to The SCOAN in Ikotun-Egbe, Lagos.
Songwriter and singer Timi Dakolo delivered a masterful performance at the all-day tribute service.
