The abducted students of Apostolic Faith Group of Schools Emure Ekiti, Southwest Nigeria. have been released.
The students and their teachers regained their freedom around 2.00 a.m on Sunday after seven days in captivity.
It was gathered that the school bus driver, Taye Omo Rasaki was killed by the kidnappers.
The freed pupils and their teachers were seen on the floor, looking exhausted as a mother lamented the condition of her child in a video.
The kidnappers had requested N100 million as ransom for the release of the victims.
A school bus with 10 occupants – five students, three teachers and the driver were abducted and whisked away was ambushed by armed men on Monday evening.
It was gathered that the kidnappers had been killed and victims rescued, with video trending online.
