The agitation for Yoruba Nation is taking a new turn as secessionists agitating for Oduduwa Republic have vowed to attack churches and radio stations if they fail to declare their support for the agitation.
According to a masked man in a video broadcast presently circulating on social media, the Yoruba elders have gathered and resolved to instigate their children to achieve the goal of breaking Yoruba out of Nigeria.
The man noted that some Yoruba monarchs and elders have been compromised saying they have informants who are monitoring and anyone who errs will be dealt with appropriately.
He said their first target is Iwo monarch, Oba Abdulrasheed Akanbi who has showed that he is not supporting the agitation and clerics in Yoruba land.
In the broadcast in Yoruba language, he said: “Any radio station that air 2023 election campaign will be burnt down. We have sent them letters and for those who are yet to receive the letter, will receive it.
“We have gathered over 30,000 warriors to overpower police because we have started war in Yoruba land already. You can’t see these warriors but soon you will start seeing them in action.
“We reached this decision in a meeting with some elders and they have told their wards to prepare for the war. Many monarchs are compromised and our first target is Oba Iwo who was spotted in Kano. We have informants who spy on these Yoruba elders and monarchs and anyone that errs will be dealt with appropriately.
“We give big churches like RCCG two weeks, if they fail to declare their support for us, we will bomb their churches”, he revealed.
