A person standing afar from the track recorded the scene. A woman in the car who was crushed to death has been identified as Selimota Idowu Suleiman, a staff of NTA Channel 5.
The staff of NTA Abuja was reportedly going to the office when her car was stuck on the track as she was trying to cross it.
It was gathered that a good Samaritan tried to help her reverse when she could not proceed, but had to give up.
At a point, she decided to ditch the vehicle, but it was too late as the fast-moving train caught up with her.
The deceased was on her way to the office when the incident happened at about 10 am on Thursday, December 15, 2022.
Until her death, the late Selimota was a Principal Accountant with the Finance Department.
