The President of the Loveworld Nation a.k.a Christ Embassy, Pastor Chris Oyakhilome, in a video has accused governments of nations and the World Health Organization ( WHO) of misleading people on measures to curb the Covid-19 pandemic.
The controversial cleric stated that wearing of clinical fask masks in public places as prescribed by most countries is against science.
He said this while speaking in a programme tagged “Your Loveworld” through the virtual church online platforms on Wednesday.
Oyahkilome said that “Clinical masks are to be worn in clean environments for specific purposes, not just anywhere, all in the name of preventing the spread of a virus”
The clergyman related the deceit by most government to the controversial conspiracy theory on the Corona virus that broke out on December 31st in Wuhan, China.
The founder of the popular healing ministry called The Healing School recalled that WHO during the early days of the pandemic had warned against the use of facial masks for those without the disease.
WHO had claimed that its use may be dangerous to the health of those who are Covid-19 negative.
Oyahkilome has however accused governments of politicizing the entire situation for their selfish gains.

“About the one of the mask, I have never seen something so embarrassing to science. It is so embarrassing to science. Let’s look at real science. The medical masks, thel one the nurses and doctors use in the hospital are not useful in public. They are used in clean environments, in a certain type of environments, for a certain purpose. That is not the kind of mask that people should wear and go out in public.
“At the beginning of the year, the WHO and the CDC did say the masks will not work”, he added.
