Nollywood actress Iyabo Ojo has opened up about her stance on marriage, revealing that she would turn down a proposal from her partner, Paul O, if he ever asked.
In a recent interactive session shared on the official YouTube channel of TVC News Nigeria, Iyabo shed light on their relationship dynamic, stating that marriage is currently off the table for both of them.
“I’m not missing marriage, and I’m not considering remarriage right now,” she said. “I value my independence, and I’m fortunate to be with a man who respects and shares that independence. It allows us to connect on a deeper level.”
Describing herself as a workaholic, Iyabo noted that Paul O is equally dedicated to his work. Their mutual understanding, she explained, is one of the things she cherishes most. He gives her space when she needs it, and she does the same in return.
“Sometimes he travels for months for work, and whenever I get the chance, I travel to see him,” she added. “If Paul O were to propose, I would have to say no. We’re simply not looking to marry each other.”
