The popular Islamic scholar, Alhaji Taofeek Akeugbagold has warned men joining Association of Stingy Men to be aware of consequent dangers inherent in act of not spending for women according to Islamic injunction.
Recall some men have floated the association of stingy men as a way to reduce the raging pandemic effect on hard working Nigerian men.
However, the cleric while speaking on a radio program on Fresh FM with topic, “DNA Challenge”, he warned that Islamic teachings don’t encourage stinginess saying because spending on women is an important God given role over women.
Akeugbagold said: ” I laugh when I heard what youths are presently doing on internet. They are displaying madness ; calling themselves Association of Stingy Men.
“You are opening doors for thieves. God says that money you spend for women is what makes you to control them. Unless you don’t have money to spend but if you have but calling yourselves stingy, you will end up belonging to Association of Regretting Men.
” Spend for women if you have and that is what God said”, Akeugbagold stated.
