Aare Olayinka Segelu Extends Ramadan Greetings to Muslim Faithful

Germany-based businessman and politician, Aare Hon. Olayinka Segelu, has extended his heartfelt congratulations to the Muslim Ummah on the commencement of Ramadan for the year 1446 AH.

Aare Segelu, a philanthropist and former Personal Assistant to ex-Speaker Dimeji Bankole, made the statement on Saturday, urging Muslims to remain steadfast in their faith and to keep Nigeria in their prayers during the holy month.

Recognizing Ramadan as a time of spiritual renewal, self-discipline, and acts of kindness, the Aare Akinrogun of Igbo-Elerinland emphasized the importance of charity and community service. As a gubernatorial aspirant under the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) in Oyo State, he described the sacred period as an opportunity for deep reflection, patience, and commitment to uplifting society.

“This year’s Ramadan comes at a crucial time when Nigeria needs prayers for socio-economic stability,” Segelu stated. “I urge all Muslim faithful to use this period to pray for peace in Oyo State and across the nation, as well as for economic growth and prosperity.”

He further highlighted his annual Ramadan initiative, where he organizes weekly iftar gatherings every Wednesday, providing a space for people to break their fast together. “This tradition will continue this year as part of my commitment to supporting the Muslim community and fostering unity in prayer for Nigeria’s progress,” he affirmed.
