A governorship hopeful for the 2027 elections in Oyo State, Aare Olayinka Segelu, has expressed deep condolences to former First Lady, Mrs. Florence Ajimobi, following the passing of her daughter, Bisola Kola-Daisi.

Bisola Kola-Daisi, the eldest daughter of the late former Governor of Oyo State, Abiola Ajimobi, passed away at the age of 42. A mother of three, she reportedly died on Thursday morning in the United Kingdom after a brief illness.

Kola-Daisi had served as a Special Adviser to the Minister of Budget and Planning, Senator Atiku Bagudu, a former Governor of Kebbi State. She was also a key figure in Nigeria’s luxury retail industry and a philanthropist known for her contributions to the community.

In a personally signed statement, Aare Segelu, a Germany-based entrepreneur and ICT consultant, expressed his shock and sorrow over the tragic loss.

“With profound sadness, I extend my deepest condolences to Her Excellency, Chief Mrs. Florence Ajimobi, on the heartbreaking loss of her beloved daughter, Abisola Ajimobi. Her radiant spirit and warmth touched many lives, and her legacy will endure in the hearts of those who knew her.

During this difficult time, my thoughts and prayers are with the Ajimobi and Kola-Daisi families. May they find solace in the cherished memories they shared and strength in the love and support of family and friends.

As we mourn this painful loss, let us honor Abisola’s life and the joy she brought to her community. With heartfelt sympathy, I pray for God’s comfort for the children she left behind. I share in your moment of grief,” said Segelu, a prominent member of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).
