Chief Adebayo Adelabu, the Minister of Power, has expressed his warm congratulations to Mr. Zaccheus Adedeji, formerly Special Adviser to President Bola Tinubu on Revenue, on his recent appointment as the Acting Chairman of the Federal Inland Revenue Service (FIRS).

In a statement released to the press, Adelabu hailed Adedeji’s appointment as a perfect fit for the role. He emphasized that Adedeji’s selection will further empower the agency to fulfill its primary mission of enhancing government-generated revenue.

Adelabu remarked, “Undoubtedly, the appointment of the new FIRS Chairman underscores President Tinubu’s unwavering dedication to advancing the nation’s development, particularly through revenue augmentation. At this pivotal juncture, what remains crucial is the continuous support of Nigerians in our collective journey to elevate the nation under the current administration.”

The Minister of Power concluded by extending his best wishes to the new FIRS Chairman, praying for divine wisdom and guidance in fulfilling Mr. President’s mandate for the betterment of the Nation.
