A former Chairman of Iseyin local government, Iseyin and chieftain of the All Progressive Congress (APC), Alhaji Saheed Alaran has congratulated the incoming President of Nigeria, Senator Bola Tinubu on his inauguration on Monday.

He also felicitated with the Governor of Oyo State, Engr. Seyi Makinde who will be sworn in for a second term in office at the Liberty Stadium in Ibadan.

In a press release on Monday at Iseyin, Saheed called on the duo to rally the support of Nigerians in the bid to revamp the nation’s socioeconomic situation, as well as improve on the security of the nation.

The politician said the two major areas of human life mentioned were necessary to be worked upon, so that Nigerians who have their hope of a better Nigeria will be fulfilled under the new administration.

“The hopes are high and expectations about a new, better Nigeria in which the lives of our people will change for better, will be achieved, these changes are important in our socioeconomic and security aspects so that we can have a Nigeria without fear of insecurity.

“We pray for our governor, Engr. Seyi Makinde on his inauguration today as a second-term governor, you have done very well for the people of Oyo State and we are sure that you will leverage on the achievements of the first term to do better in the second term,” he added.

Alaran said it is only God that choose for the people and Tinubu and Makinde will do all within their means to change fortunes of Nigerians for the best.

“We belief God give power to whoever HE chooses, we thank God for the two of them that ALLAH considered them worthy of that rare grace. God will enable them to do well and meet the expectations of ordinary Nigerians.

“The moments at hand are complex but God will simplify it via their divined and people-oriented policies and programmes, these we pray that we shall experience under the new administrations,” he prayed.
