Eid-El-Kabir: Gbolarumi felicitates with Muslim faithfuls, urges them to stay safe, observe social distancing

The Balogun Adinni of Ibadanland and Former Deputy governor of Oyo State, Chief Hazeem Gbolarumi has felicitated with Muslim faithfuls on occasion of the forthcoming eid-el-kabir celebration.

The PDP chieftain in the state also urged the Muslims to stay safe as the COVID-19 pandemic disease disrupt the social activities across the globe.

He felicitates with the state government, PDP members in the state, Chief Imam of Ibadanland, Abdul-ganiy Agbotomokekere, Aare Musulumi of Yorubaland, Edo and Delta, Alh. Daud Makanjuola and all the Muslim leaders, Imams and Alfas in the state and Muslim communities as a whole.

Chief Gbolarumi who is unavailable in the country for being stuck in London, due to covid-19 Pandemic lockdown, urged the Muslims to observe the forthcoming Eid-el-Kabir festival in line with Coronavirus (COVID-19) regulations.

He described Islam as religion of peace while he advised them to obey government’s advisory on social distancing especially in places where the ban on public congregational prayers and socio-religious gatherings was still in force.

He added that Muslims in Nigeria should note that Coronavirus is not just a Nigerian issue, but a global phenomenon.

He therefore wished them happy Eid Mubarak.
