Taju, the boy who became internet sensation after he was seen wandering and begging for money to eat when he supposed to be in school and other children from orphanage homes in the state with political stalwarts on Monday felicitated with immediate former governor in Oyo State, Senator Abiola Ajimobi and his wife, Florence.
Remember Taju has been adopted by the former First Lady which subsided the media sensation of the boy. Taju and other adopted children by the former first Lady, political stalwarts and other well wishers joined Mrs. Ajimobi and family to celebrate this year Eid el Kabir.
Speaking with journalists, Mrs. Ajimobi preached love and peace saying without peace, there can’t be desirable development in any society.
She said, “I say Barka de Sallah to all citizens of Oyo State and everyone that lives here. As we offer our sacrifices to Almighty Allah, I enjoin everyone to use this period to have spirit of love and let peace reign in hearts.
” We must show love to one another and let love of this country and Oyo State reign in our hearts. And also, we should learn to give to the less privilege around us and that is what we are doing here today.
“Eventhough my husband is no longer the Governor of Oyo State, we still have the love of people of Oyo State in our hearts. So, let’s love one another and allow peace to reign in the state because peace and love enhance desirable development in any society.
