A former member of the Oyo State House of Assembly, Hon. Tirimisiyu Olasupo Okunola, has been buried at his residence in Ido Local Government.
The lawmaker gave up ghost on Sunday midnight at age of 62. He was buried at 4pm on Sunday evening in an Islamic way.
Although the cause of his death could not be ascertained as of the time of filing this report, but it was gathered that the politician had been battling with diabetes before his demise.
Hon. Okunola represented Ido State constituency in the Oyo State House of Assembly from 2007 to 2011.
He was elected into the Assembly on the platform of the All Nigeria People’s Party, ANPP, but later defected to People’s Democratic Party, PDP.
