
Oyo State Governor, ‘Seyi Makinde, has extended his condolences to Mrs. Florence Ajimobi, wife of the late former governor of Oyo State, Senator Abiola Ajimobi, following the passing of their eldest daughter, Mrs. Bisola Kola-Daisi.
Describing Bisola as warm and good-spirited, Makinde expressed deep sorrow over her unexpected death, calling it a shocking loss. He also sympathized with the Bashorun Kola-Daisi family and her husband, Idris Kola-Daisi, offering prayers for strength and comfort during this difficult time.
Similarly, Professor Adeniyi Olowofela, the Federal Character Commissioner for Oyo State and a former Commissioner for Education, shared his grief over Bisola’s passing. In a heartfelt tribute, he extended his sympathies to Mrs. Florence Ajimobi and the Kola-Daisi family.
“I am deeply saddened by the untimely passing of Bisola Kola-Daisi. She was a beacon of light, and her loss is a profound tragedy for her family and everyone who knew her. My thoughts and prayers are with Her Excellency, Mrs. Florence Ajimobi, and the entire Ajimobi and Kola-Daisi families during this difficult time,” Olowofela said.
He further encouraged the grieving family to find solace in the cherished memories of Bisola and the lasting impact of her life.
Bisola Kola-Daisi, known for her kindness and grace, was married to Kolapo Kola-Daisi, a senatorial candidate under the Accord Party in the 2023 general election.
A former aide to the late Governor Ajimobi, speaking on condition of anonymity, confirmed that Bisola passed away in the United Kingdom after a brief illness.
Her passing marks a significant loss, and she will be remembered for her warmth, compassion, and the legacy she leaves behind.
