Residents of a quiet neighborhood in Abuja were left in shock earlier this week after discovering the lifeless body of a man in his apartment, several days after his death.
According to eyewitness accounts, neighbors were alerted by a disturbing odor coming from the apartment. After noticing that the man had not been seen for days, concerned residents broke into the flat to investigate. Upon entering, they found his body in a state suggesting he had passed away approximately three days earlier.
Authorities were called to the scene, and the area was secured for further investigation. The man’s identity has not yet been publicly disclosed, as officials are working to contact his next of kin. Complicating the process, both his phone and SIM card are locked with passwords, making it difficult to access personal information.
