Psalm. 90:12 (paraphrased)
The fool would have been wise: the wise would have been wiser if only they understood the above subject.
Some facts from Psalm 92;
- As sin increases, life expectancy reduces.
- Biblical life expectancy is now 70 – 80 years.
*Average people could now live 70years plus. - Exceptional people could live 80 years plus.
In 80 years,you have ; 960 months!
4,160 weeks!
29,200 days!
700,800 hours!
Isn’t it scary that we don’t have up to one million hours in our lifetime?!
If a person sleeps for 8 hours out of 24 hours, when he clocks 24 years, he must have used 8 years to sleep!
When he clocks 45 years, he must have slept for 15 years!
How many more years do you think he or she had used to chat, gossip, make-up, worry, hangout, while-away time……
What fraction of our lives do you think we invest in making the world a better place and securing the better place above?
David prayed the prayer of purpose (Psalm 90) just before the prayer of protection ( Psalm 91).
I perceive that a life without a purpose needs no protection!
