OLUBADAN PALACE PRESS RELEASE
The Olubadan Advisory Council has officially reinstated Chief Sulaiman Olawale Oladoja Akinsola as the Mogaji of Akinsola Family Compound, Labiran Area, Ibadan.
This development was confirmed in a statement issued by the Olubadan Palace earlier today. The statement quoted the letter of reinstatement signed by the Clerk to the Olubadan Advisory Council, Mr. A. Kolawole Balogun, which reads in part:
> “After a series of appeals, the Olubadan of Ibadanland has considered your plea and directed me to inform you that, in light of your recent letter of appeal and the communication received from the Ministry of Local Government and Chieftaincy Matters dated 26th August 2024 (Reference No. CB.161/1/18/69), His Imperial Majesty, Oba Dr. Owolabi Olakulehin, the Olubadan of Ibadanland, has graciously approved your reinstatement as Mogaji of Akinsola Family Compound, Labiran Area, Ibadan, with immediate effect.”
The letter also urged Chief Akinsola to seize the opportunity of his reinstatement to make meaningful contributions to the continued development of Ibadanland.
It will be recalled that his initial appointment as Mogaji was revoked on March 12, 2024.
