Olugbon of Orile-Igbon Mourns Bisola Kola-Daisi, Condoles with Mother, Florence Ajimobi

Oba Francis Olushola Alao, the Olugbon of Orile-Igbon and Vice Chairman of the Oyo State Council of Obas and Chiefs, has expressed deep condolences to the former First Lady of Oyo State, Chief Mrs. Florence Ajimobi, following the passing of her daughter, Bisola Kola-Daisi.

Mrs. Kola-Daisi, the eldest daughter of the late former Governor of Oyo State, Senator Abiola Ajimobi, passed away in the United Kingdom on Thursday morning after a brief illness.

In a statement, Oba Francis and Olori Olusola Alao expressed deep sorrow over the tragic loss, describing it as heartbreaking, especially coming just five years after the death of her father.

“The sad news is distressing. We extend our heartfelt condolences to Chief Mrs. Florence Ajimobi, her children, and the entire Kola-Daisi family. Bisola was a woman of grace, kindness, and warmth whose presence brought light to those around her,” the statement said.

He extended his sympathies to her husband, Chief Kolapo Kola-Daisi, their children, and the entire Kola-Daisi family, acknowledging the sorrow the tragic loss has brought to their loved ones.

“Bisola’s smiles lit up the world of those around her. She carried the nobility and beauty of her family with grace and was known for her kindness and peaceful nature,” Oba Alao added.

He prayed for divine comfort for the grieving families, urging them to find solace in the impactful life Bisola lived.

“Though she did not live as long as desired, her short and meaningful life is invaluable. May Almighty Allah grant her soul Aljanna Firdaus and strengthen her loved ones in this difficult time,” he concluded.
