Oyo Governor to Host Sierra Leone’s President Bio in Ibadan Tomorrow

Oyo State Governor, ‘Seyi Makinde, will welcome the President of the Republic of Sierra Leone, Julius Maada Bio, to Ibadan on Monday.

As part of his visit, President Bio is scheduled to tour the Fasola Agribusiness Industrial Hub in Oyo, among other engagements.

Governor Makinde expressed his delight at hosting the Sierra Leonean leader, emphasizing the strong ties between both parties.

“On behalf of the government and people of Oyo State, I extend a warm welcome to His Excellency, President Julius Maada Bio, and his delegation,” Makinde said.

He highlighted the significance of the visit, stating that President Bio and his team would experience Oyo’s rich history and heritage, as well as the state’s strides in development.

“They will witness first-hand why Oyo is regarded as the Pacesetter State and see some of the transformative projects we have implemented, including the Fasola Agribusiness Industrial Hub,” the governor added.

Makinde assured the visiting delegation of Oyo State’s warm hospitality, expressing his highest regards for President Bio during his stay.
