In a spectacular show of loyalty and honor, Kola Karim, Chairman of Shoreline Energy International and the Agba Oye of Ibadanland, has gifted the new Olubadan of Ibadanland, Oba Rashidi Adewolu Ladoja (Arusa I), a brand-new Rolls Royce Phantom.
The luxury vehicle was discreetly delivered to the monarch’s Bodija residence at 7:00 a.m. on Friday, just hours before his historic coronation as the 44th Olubadan. It was formally presented on behalf of Karim by his cousin, Engr. Abduljelyl Adekunle Karheem, Chairman of Afia Group and Mogaji of the Adanla family.

Sources told TrendscopeNews that the gesture highlights the deep bond between Karim and the monarch, often likened to that of father and son.
Kola Karim is no stranger to grand philanthropy. He once extended a similar gesture to his close friend, the Emir of Kano, Sanusi Lamido Sanusi, cementing his reputation for generosity and loyalty to traditional rulers.

Widely regarded as one of Ibadan’s most illustrious sons, Karim is celebrated not only for his business achievements but also for his enduring contributions to the welfare and prestige of his community. His latest gift adds a touch of glamour to the coronation festivities, reinforcing his status as a prominent figure in Nigeria’s business and social circles.
