SARS alleged for kidnapping, beating man, collected N464,000 as ransom in Ikorodu.

SARS officers from Ikorodu area of Lagos State has been alleged for allegedly and unlawfully arrested a young man named Emmanuel Adegbite on March 05, 2019 while he was playing snooker.

A source told LiveTimes that the officers arrested the man without a search warrant, when they (SARS men) illegally broke into Royal crown Hotel Asolo, Ikorodu and took Mr Emmanuel and some other people away.

They were reportedly taken to Ladegboye base ijede, where they were tortured for hours and threatened at gun point.

According to the source, the beating and torture stopped and he was released after his mother was forced to pay them 434,000 (Four Hundred and Thirty Four Thousand Naira) and an additional N30,000 (Thirty Thousand Naira) for her son to be released to her alive.

The added that his mother transfer from her Access bank account to an account the officers gave her. The officers reportedly received the money in a Pagatech account for a Bio Integrated Global Resources bank account with number 3756479401.

The source said “We thought they had stopped this illegal activity. We will not stop spreading this until these men are brought to book, the extorted money returned and get justice for Emmanuel Adegbite”.
