Senator Alli commissions borehole in Ibadan popular market (VIDEO)

The newly inaugurated senator, Senator Sharafadeen Alli on Wednesday commissioned another borehole in Bode market, Ibadan Oyo State Capital.

While commissioning the borehole at the popular market in Ibadan South West Local Government, the APC ward 4 chairman, Hon. Ademola Akinpelu revealed that, the project is one of his many boreholes sunk in his Senatorial District.

According to him, the senator representing Oyo South Senatorial District at the National Assembly has also provided many street lights.

He said: “the borehole we are commissioning today was a promise made during his electioneering campaign and this borehole is one of his many projects in various communities in his Senatorial District.

“Also, he has provided many solar street lights in these communities and still counting”, he revealed.

Also speaking, the Babaloja of Bode market, Elder Salaudeen Oyakojo thanked the senator for the donation of the borehole project.

While describing Senator Alli as promise keeper, Oyakojo said: “the day he was making the promise, many people there thought it was a mere promise. But today, people can conspicuously seen, the fulfillment of the promise.

“I like Alli because he responds to people’s needs on time. He provided this borehole and solar street lights to this community within a shortest time he made the promise.

Oyakojo therefore prayed for the senator as he wished him successes in his endeavours to bring laudable developments to communities in his Senatorial District.

Alhaja Sikiratu Makinde, the Iyaloja of the market also thanked the senator for the gestures.
