The former Governor of Oyo State, Adebayo Alao Akala is reportedly dead.

Alao Akala died in his sleep in Ogbomoso on Wednesday

He was said to have returned from Abuja yesterday

An inside source said the Ogbomoso born retired police officer was discovered dead when they entered his room this morning

He held meeting with some people yesterday
