BUNVIC facilitates upgrade of NTA Ogbomoso

Hon Segun Dokun Odebunmi, Chairman House Committee on Information, National Orientation, Ethics and Value has facilitated the upgrade of Nigerian Television Authority NTA Ogbomoso

The operation of the station will be nore effective with the installation of Solar Panel digital transmitter and digital studio equipment which the lawmaker facilitated.

Recalled that he facilitated the establishment of Radio Nigeria station Ogo-ilu fm in Oko Few years ago

Speaking with Journalists, the leader of All Progressives Congress Caucus at the House of reps said, the development is in line with making the local station more effective and function in disseminating information and educating the people at the grassroots.

Odebunmi a third timer at the National Assembly maintained that, the project which will soon be completed is one of the way through which he can contribute to the advancement of the society.

“The media are tools of not just dissemination of information, but also educating, entertaining and giving people opportunities to air their views on issues bothering on development at local and international level and this cannot be achieved with obsolete equipment so i decided to use my influence to attract this and more are still coming because i want our people in Ogbomoso to be adequately informed and enjoy other functions of the media in the society.

Speaking on the rural electrification projects, the Okanlomo of Ogbomosoland said, ” i have been my personal money to buy transformer and other items to compliment the one i facilitated from the government and very soon those that are yet to be connected to the National grid will be connected and people will enjoy electricity supply which will inturn attracts more economic development and growth of the rural communities
