The senatorial candidate in the just concluded 2023 national assembly election under the Accord Party, Oloye Kolapo Kola-Daisi has congratulated his rival in the contest, Oloye Sharafadeen Alli over victory at the poll.

Kola-Daisi in statement made available to journalists on Tuesday showed hope of winning in subsequent election while he congratulated Alli.

Read details of the statement 👇;

I express utmost gratitude for your unwavering support throughout the course of this election. Unfortunately, the results have not been in our favor.

I know this is not the outcome we were hoping for, but I want to assure you that this is not the end of our journey. We have fought hard for our beliefs, and although we did not succeed this time, we should not lose hope or give up on our aspirations for a better future through performance-driven representation and people-centered ideas.

It is important to acknowledge the democratic process and respect the choice of our fellow citizens. While we may be disappointed with this outcome, we must accept it with grace and humility. This is the beauty of democracy – the people’s voice is heard, and we must respect their decision. I hereby congratulate the candidate of the APC, Barrister Sharafadeen Alli, winner of the Oyo South Senatorial district election; and I wish him the best as he prepares to represent our constituency.

I want to thank everyone who supported us, from volunteers to donors, my amazing team, and everyone who cast their vote in our favor. Your dedication and commitment to our cause have been invaluable, and I am proud to have had you by my side.

I am filled with hope and optimism for the future, and I urge you all to continue to stay engaged, informed, and active in our democratic process. Together, we can make a positive difference in the lives of our fellow citizens and build a better, more inclusive society.

Thank you again for your support, and I look forward to continuing to serve you in every way I can. Stay glued to the JÉKÁ DÁSI channel my dear people, there is more to come.

Yours in continued service,
Idris Kolapoboye Kola-Daisi.
